All ENCON Systems are designed with consideration for industrial standards including: NFPA 54, 58, and 86; the National Electric Code, and UL508. For our Canadian customers, CSA/CUL and TSSA Standards are met on all ENCON MVC, Waste Oil, and Thermal Evaporators.

ENCON MVC Evaporators

The ENCON Mechanical Vapor Compression (MVC) Evaporator is a breakthrough in wastewater recovery technology that converts dirty wastewater into a high quality distilled water for only $0.01 -0.02 per gallon. These systems have a compact footprint with standard evaporation capacities of 75 - 1200 gallons per hour (larger custom systems are available). These wastewater recovery and processing systems are highly automated for unattended around the clock operation including Clean-in-Place systems that scour heat transfer surfaces to ensure high efficiency with our wastewater recycling system. The standard alloy of construction is 316 Stainless and higher alloys are available for more corrosive applications. Typical applications include: oily water coolants and lubricants, washwaters, rinsewaters, high TDS solutions, salt and brackish waters, treated process waters, groundwater, and more.

ENCON Waste Oil Evaporators

The ENCON Waste Oil Evaporators apply the same principle of operation as our long offered Thermal Evaporators which is to heat water to a boiling temperature at atmospheric conditions and drive off water as clean water vapor leaving the higher boiling contaminants to concentrate in the evaporator tank. Our wastewater recovery technology solves both your wastewater and waste oil disposal issues by evaporating your water with free energy. Since two problems are solved and the utility cost is essentially zero; typical paybacks are in the range of 1-6 months for these systems. ENCON Waste Oil Evaporators are available in evaporation capacities of 12 - 78 gallons per hour. The standard alloy of construction is 316L Stainless Steel with higher alloys available for more corrosive applications. Typical applications include: oily water coolants and lubricants, washwaters, rinsewaters, high TDS solutions, brackish waters, treated process waters, RO reject, scrubber waters, and more.

ENCON Thermal Evaporators

ENCON Thermal Evaporators and wastewater recovery technology have been supplied to our commercial and industrial clients for the past 11 years with hundreds installed throughout North America, South America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. In addition to our standard heat source offerings of natural gas, propane, oil, diesel, kerosene, steam, and electricity; we can also provide these systems for off spec landfill gas applications. This again offers the tremendous benefit of solving your wastewater problem with free energy! ENCON Thermal Evaporators are available in evaporation capacities of 10-400 gallons per hour. In addition to heating wastewater to boiling temperatures and exhausting clean water vapor, these systems can be adapted to capture water vapor as distilled water. The standard alloy of construction is 316L Stainless Steel with higher alloys available for more corrosive applications. Typical applications include: oily water coolants and lubricants, washwaters, rinsewaters, high TDS solutions, brackish waters, treated process water, RO reject, scrubber waters, landfill leachate, and more.

ENCON Drum Evaporators/Dryers

ENCON Drum Evaporators are an excellent low cost solution for your low volume wastewater dewatering and drying applications. Since the heating elements do not come in contact with the wastewater, there is no risk of baking onto the heat transfer surface. This makes the Drum Evaporator an excellent solution for dirtier applications such as bottoms from your Thermal Evaporator, as well as water based inks, paints, and adhesives. By operating in cycle timer mode, the system can dewater your residue to a dry condition. Since the evaporator vessel is a 55 gallon drum, at the end of the evaporation/drying cycle the drum can be capped and hauled for disposal without requiring hours of operator intervention to scrape and empty contents from the tank. The ENCON Drum Evaporator is offered in two models; the DE2 rated for up to 200 gallons per 5 day week, and the DE4 rated for up to 400 gallons per 5 day week.
