SMS Communications
ENCON Evaporators (“ENCON,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) may communicate with customers and prospective customers by SMS/text message when they have provided a mobile telephone number and consented to communicate with us by text.
SMS communications are primarily used for one-to-one business conversations between our Sales Engineers, Service personnel, and customers or prospective customers. Messages may include responses to product inquiries, quotation follow-up, technical questions, service support, scheduling, order and shipment updates, and other customer-requested business communications.
Information We Collect Through SMS
When you communicate with ENCON by SMS, we may collect and retain information including:
- Your mobile telephone number;
- Your name and company information, when available;
- The content of SMS messages exchanged with ENCON;
- Information you voluntarily provide during the conversation; and
- Records relating to your consent to receive SMS communications and any request to opt out.
We use this information to communicate with you, respond to your inquiries, provide customer or technical support, follow up regarding products or services, provide requested information, and maintain records of our communications.
SMS Consent and Sharing of Information
Consent to receive SMS messages from ENCON is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.
ENCON does not sell, rent, or share your mobile telephone number, SMS opt-in information, or SMS consent information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
We may provide information to service providers that assist us in operating our business and providing SMS communications, such as telecommunications and messaging service providers, solely as necessary to provide those services on our behalf. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety.
Message Frequency and Charges
Message frequency will vary depending upon the nature of your communication with ENCON. Because our SMS communications are generally conversational, the number of messages will depend upon your inquiry, project, service request, or other interaction with us.
Standard message and data rates may apply depending upon your wireless carrier and service plan.
Opting Out of SMS Communications
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages from ENCON at any time by replying STOP to an ENCON text message.
You may also use other commonly recognized opt-out requests, including CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, or OPT OUT.
After you opt out, you may receive a final confirmation message acknowledging your request. ENCON will not send additional SMS messages unless you subsequently provide consent to resume text communications.
You may also contact ENCON directly if you would like us to stop communicating with you by SMS.
SMS Assistance
If you need assistance regarding an SMS communication, reply HELP to the message or contact ENCON Evaporators at sales@evaporator.com.
